Principal’s Message:
Welcome North Marion High School Parents/Guardians,
As we approach the end of the 2nd Trimester, we want to remind you to encourage your child to finish strong. Please ensure all assignments and projects are completed on time. We have witnessed incredible achievements in academics, creativity, and kindness throughout the trimester, and we are so proud of our students.
We want to emphasize the importance of attendance for your child's academic success. Regular attendance is key to staying engaged and making progress in their learning journey.
As we approach the end of the trimester, it's important to start preparing for final exams.. To help them succeed, here are some study ideas to consider:
- Create a study schedule: Encourage your child to set aside specific times for studying each day. This will help them stay organized and manage their time effectively.
- Review class notes: Encourage your child to go through their class notes and highlight key concepts and important information. They can also rewrite their notes in a more organized and concise manner.
- Seek help when needed: Remind your child that it's okay to ask for help if they're struggling with certain topics. Encourage them to reach out to their teachers or seek tutoring support if necessary.
We are pleased to share some wonderful highlights from the 2nd trimester at our school. Your support and partnership continue to make our school community thrive.
- Cole Hammack broke the school record for most points made in his high school career, with one more year to go.
- The Robotics team is heading to the State Championships.
- Luke Bomar earned the Best Soloist at the Oregon West Jazz Festival.
- The Boys Basketball Team, under the coaching of Tully Wagner, Wade Murray & Grant Hartenstein, made it to the state playoffs.

Thank you once again for your unwavering support and partnership in your child's education journey. Together, we can create a nurturing and empowering environment for our students to thrive. Remember: Our mission statement for North Marion School District is "North Marion, learning together to cultivate lifelong growth." If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to me or our dedicated staff.
Together, we can make a difference in your child's academic journey.
