All students will be able to eat both breakfast and lunch at no charge (free) during the 2021-22 school year.

Oregon Department of Education officials notified North Marion School District Director of Nutrition Services Lori Gamboa that there will be a federal nutrition waiver that will allow meals to be offered without charge to all students for the 2021-2022 school year.  The lunch and breakfast programs for this school year are open to any enrolled North Marion student at no charge.

As a result, the North Marion School District will not be sending out Free/Reduced Applications in their school packets for the fall. However, applications will be available and processed on an as-needed basis if the family needs approval for other programs or needs.

Note: Thursday, Aug. 26 is the last day that summer meals will be distributed.
