With appropriate planning and prevention strategies in place, schools can reduce the need for school exclusions and ensure that all students have access to a full school year. With the 2023-24 school year starting soon, we know North Marion community members may have questions about district health protocols for students and staff. North Marion School District has updated its School-Level Communicable Disease Plans. These plans consider equity, mental health, and well-being to provide a safe and healthy learning environment for every student.

Having a wellness program to access professional help and resources can make a big difference. Oregon Educators Benefit Board (OEBB) has partnered with MODA and Kaiser Permanente to offer a number of free Wellness programs and resources available to members.
Wellness needs and goals look different for each person, so there is no one-fits-all wellness program. OEBB has evaluated tools and resources. OEBB's goal is to improve the overall health and wellness of members by providing resources, benefits, and programs that promote healthy behaviors and assist with managing chronic conditions.
