Celebrating National School Lunch Week!

North Marion invites you to join us in celebrating National School Lunch Week and to recognize the important role our Nutrition Services Department plays in moving towards our Mission!   

Balanced nutrition throughout the day contributes to student success in and out of the classroom. The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) offers students fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean protein and fat free or low fat milk with every school lunch. Updated federal nutrition standards also ensure these meals are within age-appropriate calorie levels and limit both unhealthy fats and sodium.  

Having access to free school meals (breakfast & lunch) creates peace of mind for many parents and families, knowing there is a healthy and balanced nutritional meal available to their children.  And we know that children, fueled by school meals, can more effectively focus and learn in the classroom.
