Give Back, Give Blood

North Marion students are holding a blood drive on Nov. 30

National Honor Society (NHS) members are inviting staff and students to give blood during the North Marion November Blood Drive this month.

The event will be held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 30 (late-start Wednesday) in Gym 2 at the High School, 20167 Grim Road NE, Aurora. The event will support the American Red Cross, a national nonprofit providing humanitarian aid and a blood bank for patients in need of a transfusion.

The blood drive is open to NM students 16 and older as well as NM staff, but it is not open to the public. North Marion NHS could potentially open future events to the public, however.

To get involved, either contact the NHS Adviser Trisha McClintock at 503-678-8452 or trisha.mcclintock@nmarion.k12.or.us  or ask one of the NHS organizers, who are: Denali Bosco, Allyson Chamberland, Grace Davenport, Adrie Lader, Yadira Romero Navarro, Saylor Swanson, Drew Synnott, and Sofia Vachter.
