Join the Empowered Program!

The North Marion School District offers a program called Empowered that provides lessons in independent living (laundry, cooking, problem solving), daily living (bathing, dressing, eating), work skills, and functional academics (reading signs, making change at the grocery store, telling time).

Aimed at ages 18 to 21, sometimes High School seniors attend the Empowered program, but a student must be enrolled in the Special Education program to participate.
