The North Marion School District Is Hosting Open Houses in August to Showcase Our Bond Measure Projects and to Offer Our Gratitude to Voters

With the completion of our bond construction and the approval of state regulations, we are inviting the community to take tours of our campus to showcase the work voters made possible when they approved North Marion School District Bond (NMSD) Measure 24-426 by 60% in 2017. Because of the $42.2 million bond, the NMSD was able to:

Begin adding security systems to protect our about 1,800 students and 230 staff members,
Improve or rebuild all of the parking lots,
Raise a two-story academic wing at the High School to replace old classrooms,
Resurface the High School track,

Install new roofs at the Middle, Intermediate, and Primary schools,
Update and expand locker rooms for the Middle School and High School,
Build a covered play area to protect the Primary and Intermediate students from the rain, and
Retrofit the Middle School gym and High School gym and locker rooms with seismic upgrades.

  • Classes of ’60 to ’79: 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Aug. 3
  • Classes of ’80 to ’99: 5 to 7 p.m. Aug. 4
  • Classes of ’00 to ’09: 5 to 7 p.m. Aug. 5
  • Classes of ’10 and later: 5 to 7 p.m. Aug. 6
• The Whole Community:
  • 5-7 p.m. Aug. 9, 10, 11
  • 10 a.m-12 p.m. Aug. 14

Note: Tours are guided and start at either 5 p.m. or 10 a.m., depending on the start time that is posted.
