Read and Ride Returns!

Primary School and Intermediate School students took home amazing prizes during the annual Read and Ride Bike Raffle, an event the schools hosted with support from two key sponsors: the North Marion Community Library and the Knights of Pythias.

Students had to read 20 minutes for every raffle ticket that they received. More than 1,000 prizes were given out throughout the month of May to encourage students to keep reading. 

On June 3, the nine grand prize winners of the raffle received a helmet and a bike, except for one kindergartner, who got a helmet and an adorable pink scooter: Mabry O’Dell (kindergarten), Francisco Guzman Melendrez (kindergarten), Nolan Forkner (first grade), Yandel Martinez Gonzalez (first grade), Camila Gutierrez Gutierrez (second grade), Cristian Fraile (third grade), Lauren Holbert (fourth grade), Zander Medina (fifth grade), Razii Adovnik (fifth grade).
