How Quickly They Grow Up!

The Yearbook team is working on  producing the Senior Portrait section of the 2023 Yearbook.

All graduating seniors will be included in these sections using their registration photo, unless they submit an alternative professional image to potentially replace the registration image. There is also the option to be placed using a Senior Spotlight for $25 in lieu of the Senior Portrait.

All photos, forms, and payments are due by November 22, which is the third week of November. Upload images using this Google Form: Senior Image Upload, or email photos to this Gmail address: yearbook1951@gmail.com.

When your portrait is submitted via Gmail, you will receive a confirmation email. Students who DO NOT submit senior portraits will be pictured using their school photo.

It is ideal to set appointments with photographers for the end of October. Please share the following information with your senior photographer.

For Your Photographer

Seniors who choose to have their pictures taken by an outside photographer must have their photos turned in to the yearbook staff for processing by the third week of November (by Nov. 22). Seniors who submit photos to be included in the portrait section of the 2023 Yearbook must adhere to the following:

1.      Photos may be in color or in black and white, although color is preferable.

2.      The print size is relative to 2-¼” x 3” (two-and-one-quarter-by-three-inches).

3.      Note that a JPEG CD or flash drive submissions are preferred. Keep photos at a resolution of at least 300 dpi when printing at the above size.

4.      File names must be in the following format: Last Name_First Name.jpg

5.      A head-and-shoulders picture is the most effective in the printed form. Yearbook staff will crop them to fit the format.

6.      Photos should be only of the graduating senior. Photos containing other people or props will not be accepted. Props include: cars, dogs, hats, guitars, and other visually distracting elements.

7.      Professional dress code should be followed. North Marion dress code regulations DO apply. Please avoid revealing clothing, spaghetti straps, strapless dresses, excessive cleavage, or T-shirts with sayings, etc.

*Please make definite plans with your photographer for delivering your senior photos to the Yearbook staff. Send the photos to: North Marion High School, Attention: Yearbook Staff.  yearbook1951@gmail.com.

Upgrade Your Senior Portrait!

The Senior Spotlight is an additional option for graduating seniors that includes space for a vertical 2-¼” x 3” (two-and-one-quarter-by-three-inches) picture of the senior, three baby images, a thoughtful quote, and family words of wisdom (with a maximum of 200 characters).

Purchase of a Senior Spotlight and submission of pictures with your name and words of wisdom from your family will be accepted electronically no later than the third week of November (by Nov. 22).

Any printed pictures will be returned after Jostens has released the pages. The cost to have a Senior Spotlight is $25.

Please note that this is the image that will be used in the Senior Slide show during graduation, along with the baby image that has been submitted.
