Shape the School District’s Future!

The Core Planning Team (CPT), which is developing a foundation for a three-year strategic plan, met Tuesday, January 18 to discuss the district’s strengths, key areas to improve, values and beliefs, ways to better serve all students (academically, socially, and emotionally), and how the district could better connect with the community.

The discussion will include input from throughout the community through a Google survey available in Spanish and English.

The CPT — which includes teachers, administrators, students, classified employees, parents, community members (representing the business and faith communities), and a School Board member — took a survey touching on the areas they discussed.

Now the CPT will be sharing that survey throughout the community to attain a diverse sampling of opinions, thoughts, and ideas. Every comment about North Marion’s public school system matters and will be recorded and considered for the overall strategic plan report.

Please take the survey and share your thoughts, imagining just how you would like to see the School District best support all our students — while reflecting our values and beliefs in the process. Again, every comment matters, so please take a moment to share your thoughts with us through the survey.
