In honor of Staff Appreciation Week, we're going to be showing our appreciation of staff with features all week!

We're impressed by the second-grade teachers at the North Marion Primary School, who, even after this long COVID-19 hiatus, are banding together to shape students into performers for a musical to debut this June, “The Rumpus in the Rainforest,” a story of a frog in a jungle who longed to soar into the big, blue sky.

“The second-graders are so excited to be able to showcase their hard work and present it to their families,” Second-Grade Teacher Chrissy Ratto said.

Parents can find out the ins and outs on how to attend from their child's teacher. But we just had to say that we are so grateful to Ratto and her fellow second-grade teachers: Meaghan Kitzmiller, Lindsay Mendez, Darla Boswell, and Casey Robles (special thanks to student teacher Sailer McRobbie who just left April 20).

We know that you are all pouring your hearts into the upcoming musical production, and we are proud of your efforts! This is something wonderful that you stepped up to do to make everything brighter and better for all of our students! We know all the decorating and directing can't be easy!! Thank you for all that you do!
