Staff Appreciation Spotlight: Jazelle Terrell

Jazelle Terrell

In honor of Staff Appreciation Week, we're going to be showing our appreciation of staff with features all week!

Most everyone at the High School knows Jazelle Terrell, the hard-working Media Assistant who's always ready to support students with finding the right materials, whether digital or analog. But did you know that she spends many of her afternoons after school with MEChA students?

Terrell is the Adviser for MEChA, which is an acronym for Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlan, (Chicano Student Movement of Aztlan).

Right now, she's been working with the MEChA students, hour upon hour and week after week, to prepare a ballet folklorico (folk dance) routine for May Day this coming Friday, May 6!

But, that's Terrell, always working hard and going the extra mile. Thank you! We appreciate all that you do!
