Strategic Plan Survey

Dear North Marion Community:

The Core Planning Team (CPT), which is developing a foundation for a three-year strategic plan, met Tuesday, January 18 to discuss the district’s strengths, key areas to improve, values and beliefs, ways to better serve all students (academically, socially, and emotionally), and how the district could better connect with the community.

The discussion will include input from throughout the community through a Google survey available in Spanish and English.

The CPT — which includes teachers, administrators, students, classified employees, parents, community members (representing the business and faith communities), and a School Board member — took a survey touching on the areas they discussed. 

Now a member from the CPT will be sharing that survey throughout the community to attain a diverse sampling of opinions, thoughts, and ideas. Every comment about North Marion’s public school system matters and will be recorded and considered for the overall strategic plan report. 

Please take the survey and share your thoughts, imagining just how you would like to see the School District best support all our students — while reflecting our values and beliefs in the process. Again, every comment matters, so please take a moment to share your thoughts with us.

Estimada comunidad de North Marion:

El Equipo de planificación central (CPT por sus siglas en Inglés)), que está desarrollando la base para un plan estratégico de tres años, se reunió el martes 18 de enero para analizar las fortalezas del distrito, las áreas clave para mejorar, los valores y creencias, formas de servir mejor a todos los estudiantes (académica, social y emocionalmente) y cómo el distrito podría conectarse mejor con la comunidad.

La discusión incluirá aportes de toda la comunidad a través de una encuesta de Google disponible en español e inglés.

El CPT, que incluye maestros, administradores, estudiantes, empleados clasificados, padres, miembros de la comunidad (que representan a las comunidades comerciales y religiosas) y un miembro de la Junta Escolar, realizó una encuesta sobre las áreas que discutieron. 

Ahora, un miembro del CPT compartirá esa encuesta en toda la comunidad para obtener una muestra diversa de opiniones, pensamientos e ideas. Todos los comentarios sobre el sistema de escuelas públicas de North Marion son importantes y se registrarán y considerarán para el informe del plan estratégico general. 

Por favor tome la encuesta y comparta sus pensamientos, imaginando cómo le gustaría ver que el Distrito Escolar apoye mejor a todos nuestros estudiantes, mientras refleja nuestros valores y creencias en el proceso. Nuevamente, cada comentario es importante, así que tómese un momento para compartir sus pensamientos con nosotros.
