Two Construction Projects to Affect Traffic in Hubbard and Aurora

There will be a construction project in Hubbard this August that will affect traffic.

Aurora Area Freeway Ramp Closure

I-5 North Exit 278 off-ramp to Ehlen Road (Aurora) Effective July 31, 2022, the I-5 North, Exit 278 off-ramp to Ehlen Road will be closed at all hours. The estimated completion date for this project is August 15.

ADA curb ramp project in Hubbard to start this week!

A project in Hubbard is part of a larger effort to rebuild curb ramps in various locations in the Willamette Valley and northwest coast. Oregon Department of Transportation says that its goal is to bring as many of the curbs into compliance as possible within the project budget and schedule. Workers are rebuilding approximately 55 curb ramps along OR 99E between Scholl Road NE and Industrial Avenue.

Starting July 27, expect construction noise, delays, shoulder and lane closures. The crew will work from 6 a.m to 5 p.m. Monday to Thursday. Learn about the project on the ODOT website.
