The North Marion School District recognizes that the health and safety of your student is one of your primary concerns.  Our schools understand the vital role we play in ensuring that students can learn in a health and safe environment that allows them to be their best selves.  This page contains resources and tools you can use while supporting your student and their on going health needs.

Crisis Line

Resources to use for immediate help in crisis situations. If the emergency is life-threatening, please call 911.


Suicide Prevention

  • Here is a link to the WESD (Willamette Education School District) suicide prevention information page.  They have resources for parents, students, and teachers.  Please contact your school counselor, child's physician, or other mental health resources if you have further questions or concerns.

Community Counseling Resources

These resources will help you find counselors. Some of them have services offered at a reduced or pro-rated fee.


Cyberbullying and Social Media Safe Practices

Help protect your child from cyberbullying and other internet pitfalls and learn how to help your child become a respectful digital citizen.


Eating Disorders

If you, your child, or someone you know might suffer from an eating disorder, please seek support.

Loss can be hard, especially for children, but there are organizations that can help.

Clothing is expensive, but there are two Salem organizations that can help, and our own North Marion Clothing Closet can offer support as well.
