Music Fills the Air at Winter Performances

As the chill of winter settles in, the warmth of music has filled the air over the past two weeks, as North Marion played host to several musical events!  Both the Middle School and High School held their winter concerts, and the HS performed at the Hubbard Tree Lighting, as well as attended a Jazz Festival.  We are delighted to share the extraordinary success and accomplishments of our school music program. This fall, our talented musicians have dedicated themselves to their craft, and their hard work and passion have truly paid off.

Music has the power to bring communities together, and our school music program has actively engaged with our local community. Whether it's through participation in community events or engagement with other schools, our musicians have played a key role in enhancing the cultural vibrancy of our district.

We are proud to witness the continuous growth of our music program. This year, we welcomed new students into our musical family, providing them with opportunities to explore and develop their artistic abilities. The enthusiasm and dedication of both new and returning students have contributed to the overall success of our program.

Behind every successful music program is a team of dedicated and passionate educators. Our music teachers – Jessi Vaughan our Band Director, and John Hadden our Choir Director – have worked tirelessly to inspire and guide our students, fostering a love for music and nurturing the skills necessary for success. Their commitment to excellence is evident in the achievements of our young musicians.
