Willamette Career Academy has issued this announcement: "Out of an abundance of caution, we have decided to cancel our Dedication Ceremony on August 26 at 2:00 p.m. Our number one priority is opening school safely and in-person, and we believe it is in the best interest of our community and school to mitigate risk as much as possible.

We still welcome you to attend our Open House on August 26 from 4:30-7:00 p.m. for a sneak peak of our incredible facilities. We will have shifts of small groups going through the building to tour the school and meet our staff.

All students will be able to eat both breakfast and lunch at no charge (free) during the 2021-22 school year.

Oregon Department of Education officials notified North Marion School District Director of Nutrition Services Lori Gamboa that there will be a federal nutrition waiver that will allow meals to be offered without charge to all students for the 2021-2022 school year.  The lunch and breakfast programs for this school year are open to any enrolled North Marion student at no charge.
