The term “snowball” has many meanings. It’s that icy ball your older brother ambushes you with on a snowy day. It’s a verb for things spiraling out of control, as well as another name for a shrub and a chilly sweet treat in the summertime. It’s also a type of dance.

In keeping with School Board Policy II/IIA-AR, this notice serves to inform the community of the English Language Arts Instructional Materials that the North Marion School District K–12 Committee is considering launching in the fall of 2022. 

What is happening? This spring, each school in the district will pilot instructional materials in the classroom from two publishers.
